Then I became a mother. That season asked more of me than anything ever had, and it quietly rearranged what I thought success was supposed to look like. The titles and milestones I'd been chasing lost their volume on their own. What stayed was small and impossible to argue with. I wanted the people I love to feel truly known.
That instinct wasn't new. Making people feel seen is something I've carried my whole life. I've just never been more certain it was the thing that mattered.
I've always believed a generic gift never feels right. A real gift is proof that someone paid attention — it honors the passions someone loses track of time pursuing, the quiet rituals they cherish, the small pieces of a personality that make a person unmistakably themselves.

We're starting with a love close to my own: the bond between people and their pets. For fifteen years, Lucas was my constant — the warm weight beside me through every version of myself I grew into and out of. He taught me what this kind of love really is, and he's the reason this first collection exists. For dog and cat lovers, that connection is family, and it deserves to be honored with intention.
